Since the beginning of construction in 2019, we have been actively involved in Community Development and Empowerment (PPM) programs in our operational areas. The programs we design cover the fields of education, health, economic development, socio-cultural, and infrastructure. We involve the active role of the community in determining the program and its implementation for results to be right on target and give optimal benefits.
Our partnership with the local community has also been realized since in the beginning of construction activity when Covid-19 pandemic hit our nation, one of which is through the formation of the Covid-19 Task Force. We prioritize maintaining the health and economic activities of the local community, therefore one of the important tasks of the Covid-19 Task Force is monitoring the entrance to Kawasi Village in our operational area, including checking the residents' health condition. With the test kits we provide, residents who are detected positive for Covid-19 undergo a period of quarantine at home that we built with the community.
We also provide Personal Protective Equipment, checking equipment assistance, medicines and vitamins, thousands of basic needs packages, and vaccines as an effort to overcome the pandemic, as well as our awareness as part of the community.
